What is Beading Daily? |
Beading Daily is the new online beading community, project library, and newsletter brought to you by Interweave Press, publishers of Beadwork, Step by Step Beads, Step by Step Wire Jewelry, and Stringing magazines, as well as a lot of really cool beading books. See About Beading Daily for more information. |

Are all the projects on Beading Daily new, or have they been previously published? |
- Both! Well be publishing new, never-before-seen patterns exclusive to Knitting Daily as often as we can. In addition, well be bringing you the best patterns from Interweaves extensive back library of knitting books and magazines, both for sale in our Beading Daily Store and for free in the Beading Daily Project Library. Theres a lot of sold-out books and magazines in our vault. We want you to have all the best of the old patterns as well as the new.

How can I submit my projects to Beading Daily? |
- Beading Daily loves to publish photos of beading projects by readers. If you have something you'd like to share with our international audience, send it along! We prefer links to the projects on your website or blog, but if you only have a JPG image, let us know and we'll tell you where to send it.
Occasionally, we do buy project instructions to feature on Beading Daily, particularly if it is something that showcases a new technique, new materials, or something unique that is currently not available on Beading Daily. Contact us for submission details.

How do I notify you if I find incorrect or missing information on your website? |
- Our objective is to provide you the most complete and accurate information at all times. If you discover incorrect or missing information, we would appreciate hearing about it. Visit our contact page and thank you for taking the time to help us make this site the best it can be!

I'm on WebTV or MSNTV2, and can't access the patterns. |
- According the the folks at MSNTV2 (formerly WebTV), you can not download or view .pdfs via their browser.
Unfortunately, due to the ever increasing number of patterns, and the amount of detail required to provide a comprehensive pattern, a .pdf document delivery system is our best option for delivering patterns. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

I can't log in? Where is my password? |
- Your password was included in your confirmation email (or in your welcome email, if you were a charter member that signed up early). If you've already tossed that email, go ahead and click the "lost password" link, and a new password will be sent to you!

Is this the same as the old Beadwork subscription-only site? Is this the same as the Beading Daily Online-Store?
Will my Interweave site member login work on Beading Daily? Will my Beading Daily Online store work on Beading Daily?
- No, Beading Daily is community site, and is independent of the magazines, books and online store websites.
Currently, you will need to sign up and/or log in separately when visiting our other sites.

Why do I keep getting sent to a separate subscription page when I download a pattern?
- Beading Daily is an extension of Interweave Press . I kind of think of these invitations to subscribe to our magazine like those (annoying) subscription cards that fall out of your magazine. It's our way of reminding you that Beading Daily is only a small part of a much larger Interweave world!

I know I'm subscribed, but I can't download projects! What's the problem? |
- Make sure you are logged in. Check in the upper right hand of the screen, just below the blue bar. It should say "Signed in as XXXX". Also the blue bar will say "Log Out". If it says "Log In", then your cookie wasn't saved. Log in and you should be good to go.

It says I'm logged in. Why I can't download projects? |
- If you've changed your password, you will need to log out and log back in.

| I'm getting two copies of Beading Daily, I really only need one. |
- Check the email address in each newsletter. Some folks have signed up using multiple email addresses. Sign into the account you no longer wish to have you mail the newsletter, and uncheck all the boxes and CHECK the Global Promo List Opt-Out.

I dont want to sign up for the newsletter--I just want the free projects. |
- OK! You still have to be a member of Beading Daily to download the free patterns, which means signing up. As a member, youll receive the Beading Daily newsletter
but no one says you have to read it! Delete the newsletters, filter them into your trashbut keep the one with your password in it so you can still get to the free project library! And maybe read a random newsletter every now and then, just to make sure you arent missing something you might really enjoy.
(Of course you can opt out in your account panel, but we hope you won't!- Kat)

Why do I keep getting sent to a separate subscription page when I download a project? |
- Beading Daily is an extension of Beadwork, Step by Step Beads, Step by Step Wire Jewelry and Stringing. I kind of think of these invitations to subscribe to our magazine like those (annoying) subscription cards that fall out of your magazine. It's our way of reminding you that Beading Daily is only a small part of a much larger Interweave world!

Do I have to subscribe to one of your magazines to get Beading Daily? |
- No! Of course, we would love it if you did subscribe to Beadwork, Step by Step Beads, Step by Step Wire Jewelry or Stringing, but a magazine subscription is not required to access the website.

I really like project XYZ and am going to print it out for my beading group. That's OK, right? |
- Well, while it's OK to love the project, but we would really prefer that only members of Beading Daily download the projects. Of course, all of the members of your beading club/guild/class/organization are welcome to sign up for free!
Please use the PDF as we publish it--in other words, dont alter it in any way as it needs to include a credit line to Interweave Press and Beading Daily. All rights reserved. Not to be reprinted. All of this copyright language is currently in the PDF, so you wouldnt have to do anything additionally.
If the class is advertised anywhere, the class description should include:
The project's name The designer's name
BeadingDaily.com
Lastly, wed love to have a class photo of you and all your students with their projects when they are done to post on Beading Daily.

I would like to sell a project that I made using the instructions I found on Beading Daily. Is that OK? |
- You'll need to contact the individual designer for permission. Contact information (website or email) is typically found in the designer bio at the end of the project instructions.

May I link to your site? |
- Yes! Yes! Yes! In fact, we have some swell Beading Daily buttons for you to download, We just ask that you don't post any content including projects and other images on your site, as all items on this site are subject to copyright (see below)
